I can’t speak about groundhogs and there predictions, but I do know it’s March, here in Quebec and I do know horses. I think it’s quite clear that winter has no intention of going out with a whimper. Clinics are starting as the show season is fast approaching here in Canada. For now, we’ll hit the trails and use the snow as a strengthening exercise…once we thaw out a bit. 😉
The ever beautiful Milady. One of my favorite horses to photograph. Owner Josee Grenier always does such a magnificent job of making Milady look resplendent. To see more of Milady and other horses shot in this style, you can visit, www.tomvonkapherrphotography.com and they are in the Horses in The Dark folder.
The beautiful Zorro, all black Canadian horse. The fun you can have with just a couple of lights. I photographed Zorro on a black background and was using two synced Speedlight flashes mounted on stands with white umbrellas. Ohh, and for those that like camera setting details: 125 sec. ISO 200, f5.6
