  1. Oh makes your heart jump into your throat! I helped out once at a small show in Topeka, Kansas once, and a younger rider was doing a jump and fell from her horse. All I could do was hold my breath and watch until she got up. I was opening and closing gates. She was fine and the horse was fine, but it sure gives you a scare.

  3. Yes, it does come down to bravery, doesn’t it? It absolutely commands respect. Very good points made here. These photos feel real. It’s not all beauty and grace as such pretty photos would lead us to believe. It is important to remember this is a sport and this is courage and strength in display.
