  1. Another beautiful Rider and Horse image! My Grandson is absolutely crazy about horses and because of him I’m learning a lot about horse breeds, and what they do. I find I’m partial to Hanoverians, Pintos, Grays, and Shire Horses! Figure-toi? πŸ™‚

    • Thanks. Beautiful taste in horses. We had Hanoverians growing up. I personally had a rescue pinto, which I loved. Later on my sister had grey Trakehners.
Now I just have Binky the horse statue in my yard. πŸ™‚

      • LOL! Well I only have Schleich and Breyer horses so I guess we’re in the same boat. πŸ™‚
We take #1 Grandson up the local stable for a Shetland pony ride every other week though so perhaps someday there will be a real horse in our future. πŸ™‚

      • We used to have Breyer horses! I must admit I want a Shetland, so I don’t have to mow the lawn, but I know my daughter will want to make it a house pet.
Binky is my avatar. She 15 hands high.
        Here’s a shot of Binky:

      • Binky is wonderful! #1 Grandson is only 2.5 yrs old but he’s so crazy about horses that we got him a subscription to Horse & Rider Magazine. When the issue arrives in the mail he’s so excited and wants me to read/describe every page! Today I think he’s more a Cowboy rather than a Dressage type rider, but time will tell. πŸ™‚ Does your daughter ride?

      • That’s so cute. My daughter is learning hunter jumper at riding school. But at 14, her interest in boys my take precedence. πŸ™‚

      • Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry Dad! I’ve been there… that was me. Get the shot gun ready! I kept BigBabyBoy busy with Baseball until College, Baby Girl discovered boys in 4th grade. Thankfully she was busy with Softball. I hope I can keep #1 Grandson busy with whatever his interest are and right now it’s Horses and animals! I’m following that lead!

      • Considering the rough time you recently had, you deserve a little vacation. The International of the last week of July and first 2 of August. Over 600 horses competing!

  3. I treasure ALL of your photos, Tom. You do a spectacular job of bringing only the best to us.
I have to admit, redneck, transplanted Texan that I am, I had never heard of Bromont until I saw your work.
I am a horse lover, too. I have never had the pleasure of owning my own, but in my book they are one of God’s greatest gifts.

    • Thank you so much. Yes, horses really are special. I never tire of taking their picture. Who knows, one day you may make it to Bromont and see the horses for yourself. πŸ™‚
